Day 1

Familiar Faces!

Welcome back to El Salvador! We’ll be there to pick you up on arrival at the airport and head to our base in El Tunco. Get settled into your oceanfront rooms at the hotel before we head to our first activity: PUPUSAS!

We’ll be making our own pupusas with the abuelas at our beachfront secret spot then head out for a night out with your bestie, Christopher!

Day 2

Isla de Conchaguita

On your last visit we camped at the volcano of Conchagua where you experienced the gorgeous sunrise when you awoke, casting light over these beautiful islands in the middle of the ocean. Well, today we’re headed out to a few of those islands!

Hundreds of years ago there was a Lencan priestess who was burned at the stake by the Spanish and now she’s considered the Spirit of the Mountain that protects the villagers and people of this place. So our second activity is head to the temple where she was burned alive and learn about the Lencan people along the way with Don Mario, who was born and raised on these islands.

Then, we’ll head to another oceanfront beach hotel with multiple salt water pool in front connecting to the sea.

Day 3

Isla de Cocos

After our beachfront breakfast buffet, we will head to our next stop: the Island of Coconuts!

This island is where coconut production takes place for many places along the world. With over a million coconuts on the island, our next activity is exploring the island by bici taxi, riding under the coconut trees where we’ll learn about the many different products produced on the island with the opportunity to try them all!

We’ll have a seaside lunch and then head back to our ocean pools.

Day 4

Lago de Alegria

Our next activity is on BUGGIES! Hop in this off-roader and we’re headed to the Lake of Joy! Where we’ll race down the mountain to this sparkling body of water in the middle of mountains before heading back to base in El Tunco.

Day 5

Hike El Peñón de Comasagua

After those long action packed days, you’ll have a calm day off. Take a surf class or opt into a short, easy hike to the top of a peak near town and have lunch at a nearby restaurant. The choice is yours!

Day 6

FAREWELL

It’s flight day! The team will take you to the airport to catch your flights back home. Remember it’s not goodbye, it’s see you next time!
